Decorating the tree

Lots of reading goes on in our house these days......

We are anxiously awaiting Santa's arrival!

The juice

The "juice"

Just one capful a day helps with auto-immune diseases, joint pain, acid reflux, hormone imbalances, immunity protection, balancing the body to allow you to better absorb nutrients....

Here is a few testimonies on this fantastic staple in our house:
My son has 4 autoimmune diseases and is severely immune-suppressed. Since being on this juice, he hasn't caught one single bug or virus!!!!

I have 4 autoimmune diseases also and have a white count that is CRITICAL making me super susceptible to infections. In the last 9 months.....only one antibiotic. Yes, you read that right.....one antibiotic in 9 months vs one every month previously.

best stuff EVER....5 of us, 0 sickness in 2 years that required the Dr or medication....extra juice did the trick! unreal! esp with all the sickness that is floating around at church and school! never. ever. going. without!

Ask me how to get your's!!

Addicted

In 5.5 months through an ALL NATURAL health system Jeff has lost 55 lbs and 22 inches! I am so proud of him for his dedication to the program and so grateful we made the decision to start on these amazing products.
I am constantly getting texts and messages from customers saying "I am only on day 4 and I am already off my acid reflux meds!", "I have lost 10 lbs in 8 days and have been migraine free, something that was unheard of prior!", "I am getting relief from my IBS and feel great!", "I was hesitant at first, but I am SO thankful you shared your story and encouraged me to give it a try! I had nothing to lose with the money back guarantee and I feel AMAZING!", "I have lost 18lbs and my goal was 15lbs!"......
I am truly amazed daily with the stories both from my customers and my team's customers. I can't say enough about what they have done for my health, for Jeff's, and lastly for our kids. We have been able to find an all natural solution for Peyton's ADHD and it has been such a blessing for our family. I am so happy to have a tool that helps Peyton to manage his behaviors and me to manage him with less stress!

We are also so glad to have found an anti-oxidant juice that has kept our kids healthy! While other kids are passing around a ton of winter sickness junk at school the kids are staying relatively healthy. I ran out of it and they all got sick - a lesson well learned! We won't be running out again!!

I joke that Jeff is addicted to 8 day challenges (where you lose 5-15lbs in 8 days guaranteed!). He is on his 3rd one and has lost 7lbs on this last one. I am grateful for this journey we are on together!

So true....

This is just how things are going lately!  Just when I think its getting a little easier, new things start! Like Paxton's latest trick - taking his diaper off and smearing the contents all over the place! And for those of you who read my facebook post about this - he's done it again in the Living Room!!! Its like Parker all over again, except worse! MUCH worse! At least Parker just took it off and either ran around naked or peed. This just might send me to the looney bin!

My new love

I LOVE my job! I LOVE helping people get healthy! I LOVE seeing results like this!

Or getting text/email messages like this: "My coughing symptoms that I had from the acid reflux and spasms of esophogus is almost completely gone which I noticed in week 2 or 3 of taking the products." AND "I have lost 4.5lbs and 2 inches in my waist and my husband has lost 4.4 lbs" by day 5 on the products. AND "I have lost 18 lbs in 7 wks and have so much energy I never thought I could have!"

I never thought I would be making a career out of helping people lose weight and get healthy, but I LOVE it! Did I mention I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new job?! :) I have been having fun helping others and reaching new goals of my own! I made manager this month and am striving to surpass that this month! I can't wait to get an all expense paid cruise for 2 from Xyngular and help people along the way! If you want to join me on this journey, start losing weight, or overcome a health concern, then get in touch with me because I would love to tell you more about it!

Halloween 2012

Well Halloween was an interesting one this year. We weren't even sure there was going to be a Halloween due to the hurricane. Its been a crazy week of lots of preparing for the storm (that we fortunately fared very well!), finding things to do with 4 cooped up kids home from school and housebound, and just getting back into routine by the end of the week. I was totally unprepared for Halloween with all their costumes still in bags and didn't start until about 30 min before I was supposed to leave the house (which with 4 is not even close to enough time when I'm doing it by myself). So needless to say, they were kind of thrown together, but they had a fun time despite my short comings.

We stopped at my parent's house first and met Jeff there. Then we came back to our neighborhood and went door to door, with a final stop at Jeff's mom's. It was a whirlwind night and the first school night of the week, so it was crazy.

Unfortunately among forgetting to get their costumes ready, I forgot to check my camera. The battery was dead! So, not too many pics and if I did they were with my cell or from my mom. I was so bummed!!

Peyton and Parker were Army men (with green hair - don't all Army men have green hair? :))

Paxton was a pirate - and yes, that's a real patch for an eye problem he is having, but I made it work with the costume.

Piper was a witch.

All the cousins together at Grandmom and Grandpop's.

Pax REFUSED to take a picture, so we have the back of his head in all the group shots.

Happy Halloween!!

They say

They say I will miss these years. After days (make that years) of endless toddler antics I'm not so sure I can always see that.

They say I will miss:

Stepping on countless Legos.

Picking up spilled snacks.

Wiping up puddles of milk and juice left behind by the overturned sippy cup and bottle.

Pulling toys out from under the couch (and all kinds of nasty remnants of what was a snack).

Listening to only kid movies in the car, forgetting what a radio even is.

Cleaning up pee and poop after 2 toddlers have had ANOTHER accident.

Wiping up dinner time spills.

They say I will miss:

The constant "Why Mommy?".

The toys overtaking every inch of our available Living Room floor space.

Stepping on match box car after match box car.

Buying diapers!

Double gating our living room to keep a toddler safe and out of my things!

Not getting to go the bathroom by myself.

Taking my showers at 11:00 at night just to have peace and quiet.

They say I will miss:

Changing the sheets on everyone's bed to have at least 1 of them wet the bed only a mere 12 hours later.

Mopping the floors to have multiple things spilled in a matter of hours.

The screaming and fighting!

The racing to the car, to the bathroom, to go outside, etc just so they can be first! And then arguing because they didn't get there first!

Carrying a toddler in each arm, a diaper bag slung over one shoulder, and dragging two disobedient children behind, completely embarrassed by their behavior and the lack of control I have over getting my children to listen.

The endless doctor's appts for 4 children.

Getting up in the middle of the night. And then doing it again and again. Oh, and again. Realizing that its now morning and I probably only had about 4 non-consecutive hours of sleep.

The balancing act they call being a mommy to 4 young children.

I will miss this. I am always reminding myself that I will miss this one day. Really, I will.  I will miss these days, weeks, and years. The days are long and the years are short!  To my four beautiful children who keep me on my toes, I love you with all my heart and wish I could keep you little and in my arms forever!

TGIF

Thank goodness it is finally Friday! Its just been one of those weeks with countless hours by myself with the kids and their antics!
I have been late 3 of 5 pickups from preschool (and the other 2 days it wasn't me who was picking up, so I was 3 for 3!!), I was late getting Piper to preschool one day, I got Peyton to school on time by the skin of my teeth - 8:34 we were pulling in the parking lot, he has till 8:35 to get there! And today I was determined to get where I needed to be on time - I set my alarm for earlier! A lot of good that did, I accidently turned it off and slept till 7:59 (which NEVER happens bc the kids never sleep that long), and I had to dress and feed them all,  and get out the door by 8:23!! Did it, but nothing like starting off a day like that!

This is what it has come to....double gates because I can't keep Pax in the living room long enough to go the bathroom. Why not let him out? Well because faster than I can turn my back, he is climbing on the dining room table, climbing the stairs, throwing my decor around the room....

Our jailbirds... :)

Two of my troublemakers!

A day too soon!

So I guess I posted a day too early! This "trick" is the icing on the cake! He never ceases to amaze me with the things he is able to get into. Why did I take a photo rather than take him down (asks my husband)? Well because he's number 4, not 1! Why not chronicle it in a photo before yelling at him? :)

Two going on five

God truly saved the wildest, most fearless, trouble making toddler for last! Paxton is giving me a run for my money!!(except I didn't pay for him, so I guess that figure of speech is kind of mute) He thinks he's much bigger than he is!
He has figured out how to climb out of his crib, set off my car alarm continuously, been found fishing in the toilet, figured out how to climb the baby gate (NONE of them EVER figured that out!!). He gets into EVERYTHING and then some.

He is the one where most mom's are gasping and panicking because he will be doing tricks like this at the park....

I'm so used to it and by the time you get to the fourth, not much phases you anymore. Jeff and I are always talking about how much more relaxed you get from kid #1 to kid #4! And if you don't have 4, just trust me. :)

While I joke that its best that he's my 4th and not my 1st or I would have had several heart attacks by now, he truly makes me work hard to keep him safe and out of trouble! He takes being a toddler to a whole other level!

Reasons I NEVER get on the phone

If I don't answer the phone or never call you back, here is why:

Because before I know it all my groceries are being dumped on the floor and the plastic bags - clearly not meant to be played with - are being used to play store, change babydolls diapers, and collect things. (And, if you're wondering why I still use plastic bags, its called 4 kids and I can't remember to take them with me. To which someone so kindly told me to leave them in my car because that would make it so much easier to remember - um, yeah, did I mention I have 4 kids and I'm lucky if I remember my wallet?)

Because a cup of water being used for painting is all over the floor and being refilled by a 3 yr old and spilled once again.

Because chances are I'm changing a diaper, taking someone to the bathroom, giving someone a snack or drink.

Because if I get a second without a screaming or fighting kid, I'm running to the bathroom by myself!

Because if they spot me on the phone they are hanging from the ceiling fans before I know it.

Because I just might have an ulcer from the stress of just trying to handle something over the phone for 5 min!

Because I can come back to an email or text message and the recepient can't hear how out of control things really are!

Vacation 2012

So our vacation was a memorable one and all in the 1st 2 days! My facebook post on day 2 was similar to this: A trip to the ER for a child with a broken toe, a dead car battery with all kids exhausted and covered in sand, a child who throws up in the car on the way back to the beach house, and forgetting our 11 yr wedding anniversary all by day 2 of our vacation!

Yep, that was the start to our family vacation to Ocean City, MD. Although it was eventful and it took until the last 2 days before the kids finally settled into a routine and went along with the flow, it was a good one.

Here is snapshot of the 200+ photos I took. :) We spent lots of time in the sand and water, cruising up and down the boardwalk, eating ice cream, and just enjoying life away from work and home.

Pax turned 2 while we were there...enjoying his Big Bird he got for his bday!
