He's starting to get into trouble....

Yesterday I went out to the kitchen to load the dishwasher and I come back and out and this is what I find. Parker has really only been crawling to get to toys, but now it has extended into going places he shouldn't go. He has been very into the vent in the floors, the blinds on the sliding door, and unfortunately, the basement steps!! He's moved onto to getting into trouble. He's so proud of himself when he gets where it is he wants to go.

Great Friends

On Saturday Jeff and I went on a date. Woohoo!! We went to the Baltimore Orioles game. Why the Orioles game you ask? Jeff got some tickets so we decided to make a day out of it.

We took 2 of our friends with us, Carrie and Mike. We had such a great time!! They are great friends and we always have good time when we get together.
Don't mind the blurry picture, but this was our second attempt at this one. :) We made a whole day out of it and left in the afternoon and went to the Inner Harbor for dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. It was pouring when we got there, we were soaked by the time we got to dinner. Luckily it stopped raining for a little while and we got to see some of the game before they had a rain delay. All in all it was a great time!!

My two studs...

I know this is a post that I as a mom would probably be the only one to enjoy, but I just had to show off my 2 little studs in the making. :)
I found this shirt at Old Navy and just had to buy it for them. If you can't tell, their shirts say "Future Prom King. Royalty in the making. To cast your vote, see mom." :) I get told all the time that our boys are so beautiful and will be breaking girls hearts. I don't like to think of them with girlfriends just yet.... I'm their only girl right now. :) BUT, I can say I agree that they are so handsome and just squeezable cute. I guess I'm a little biased though.

Peyton 4 yrs and Parker 6 months

Parker is 6 months old!

Parker turned 6 months on September 17th. I cannot believe he has been a part of our family for half of a year already!!! I know it's said ALL the time, but time goes by SO fast!!!!!! He weighed in at 20lbs and was 27 3/4 inches at his checkup. Maybe one of these days he will slow down a little. :) He was at the gastroenterologist for his reflux checkup too and they unfortunately upped his meds since he grew so much and the symptoms are still bothering him (and frustrating mom and dad). Our carpet is taking a BEATING. Not sure how much spit up one area rug can take. We get lucky once in a while and he spits up on the hardwood floor! Outfit after outfit, bib after bib, and one load of laundry after another.... I was just thinking about how expensive acid reflux can be. On a more positive note, they think he will be able to cut back if not get rid of his meds at around 9 months. His "flapper" to his stomach should close up and then he will be able to keep food down better. We can only hope this is the case. Despite all of this, he is such a happy baby!!

He is now crawling all over the place, racing across the floor to get Peyton's toys. So far, Peyton doesn't seem to mind and in fact thinks it's funny. We'll see how long that lasts!

Winter Hat

I bought this hat back in August at the Outlets and couldn't wait till it got cold out to put it on him...

I'm partial... but I love his blue eyes up against these overalls.

Peyton wanted to take a picture too.... This is what resulted from that. (don't look too close at the lack of concern with appearance on my part) :)

Pink

I finally got some pink.... I might not get to have a girl anytime soon or at all, but I have a little pink in my baby boy's wardrobe. Gotta love those hand-me-down clothes. For all you guys out there - pink is the new black. :) He looks so cute in his pink and green polo.

I added another one of him in his PJs... I just love how cute and cuddly they look in jammies.

E-A-G-L-E-S!!!! GO EAGLES.

The "boys" all wore their Eagles jersies on Sunday to route them on. We squeezed Parker into his one more time before he moves on to the next size. You can't really tell, but Jeff and Peyton are wearing the same jersey. Peyton was very excited to be just like his Daddy.

Peyton's 1st day of school

Peyton started Preschool at his new school - Cedar Grove in Perkiomenville. He will go MWF and seems to be adjusting. He was very upset that he wasn't going to go back where he went last year to see his old friends and old teachers. He still asks to go there, but then has a good time at school. Today was his official first day although he's been there twice for a tour and orientation. He would not stand still for me to take a good pic so this is all I got (don't mind the shoes in the background) :)

Monster Truck Birthday Party

So I'm finally getting around to posting Peyton's 2nd of 2 birthday parties. He had a monster truck party with family and friends. We all had a great time and enjoyed seeing everyone.

Peyton's favorite part, aside from opening presents :), was the pinata. He had a Grave Digger pinata that eventually had to have the candy shaken out of it.

He tells everyone about his monster truck cake. He is sitting by his two best friends, Vinny and Braycee!!!!

He loved EVERY one of his gifts. No lie... even the batteries were a hit. (only my kid) :)
