Father's Day

Father's Day.. couldn't get one photo where they all looked good, but you get the point. And yes, before you all start making fun of me... they are dressed to match. Piper's dress matches the boys' sweater vests. :)

Parker LOVES bath time!! It is his favorite time of day. I just loved these pics of him and had to share them.

So a weakness of mine and Jeff's in the realm of parenting would have to be allowing our toddler learn to feed himself. If you know Jeff, you know that he hates any kind of mess!!!! But, knowing that he needs to learn to do it himself, we cringe when we hand over the food! Of course, our not so little child anymore decided he needed to be like his brother because I was laughing hysterically as Parker is deciding to drink his his ice cream.

The best and worst of friends (and cousins)

These two are the best and worst of friends. They love each other and love to play together, but they also fight like cats and dogs. They are good at bossing each other around and arguing over everything but also love to get together. Jason, Emily & the kids came over on Memorial Day and the kids went swimming in the pool.

Piper Elizabeth

Piper Elizabeth joined us on June 10th, 2009 at 3:35 pm weighing 8lbs 7 ounces and 20.5 inches long. We couldn't be happier and more blessed than to have her in our family!

Going home... we got to leave a day early. Since it was my 3rd and we were both doing good they said we could go home. I was ready to leave and couldn't wait to be at home with everyone!!

Today was my 39 week appt and the drs were discussing inducing me a little early to try to prevent me from having to have another LARGE baby, but no go. I was 2cm (progress since last weeks 1/2cm, but not enough to convince the dr today). I am scheduled to be induced on Wed the 10th (a day after my due date) unless something happens before then. It will snow in June if that actually happens! - if you know the stories of the birth of the boys you know that I just dilate and need to be induced to get my babies out!!

The news was bittersweet. I'm VERY uncomfortable with this being my 3rd pregnancy, 2nd in 1.5 yrs, and chasing a toddler around all day, but this being our last time we get a few more days to enjoy this part of our lives before its all over.

Thanks to everyone who has been praying for us, asking how the baby and I are doing - esp with my heart (which is doing well right now!!), and for just being excited to welcome another little one of our babies into this world!!

We will let you know when she gets here with LOTS of pictures....
