As I am attempting to rinse out a poopy cloth diaper in the toilet, the toilet DOES NOT start to overflow on me! I mean, come on really??? Its not bad enough that I have to put my hands in the toilet to begin with?? I did not then just hope the problem would solve itself and that the next time I would flush it would just work. (Funny thing is, it did work!!)
Thank goodness I can start over tomorrow!

Not me Monday!
Not Me Monday time! Check out MckMama's blog.
Somehow the worst of my "Not Me's" happen when I am alone with the kids. Maybe that's because there are 3 of them and only 1 of me!! Sunday I did not decide that taking the kids out to run errands as a way to get out of the house was a good idea. I did not then listen to Piper scream the whole way there to then not fall asleep less than 30 seconds from the store. She did not fuss the entire time at the store. I did not listen to Parker scream the minute I put him in the cart until I did not give him a bright red Cherry flavored Icee. An Icee that he did not drink most of in a matter of minutes and then proceed to take the straw out and did not flick all over himself and his brother who was not nicely sitting next to him being quiet. Oh and did I mention that he did not have a white shirt on? I did not then fight with him the rest of the time to keep the straw in and not drink it from the hole in the lid. I was not wishing I had not just created more laundry for me to do.
I did not then decide to head to a craft store, "J" to look for items to finish a Christmas card order. I did not not find what I was looking for in J and then go to the other craft store, "M" across the street. Again, I did not not end up with the things I did not drag the kids in there to find. As I am standing there looking on the shelves I did not feel a warm wet spot forming on my shirt under Parker's butt to then left him up and see that he had not peed all over me. I did not then put everything I had on the stroller on the shelf in front of me and walk out. I did not then listen to Peyton cry about not getting to go to McDonald's that I had not been using as bribery to cooperate at the stores with me to then just cave in and not go in with a soaking wet shirt and a 20 month old with soaking wet pants. Nope not me!! I did not put my vest on and try to cover it up, but then realize it was too ungodly hot to wear that and juggle all 3 kids in McDonalds by myself. I did not then leave it in the car and say to myself "Who cares? My shirt is wet, they can think what they want." Everyone does not always stare at me and make comments about how "full my hands are" anyway, when in reality they do not really want to say "You're crazy for having 3 kids that close in age! What were you thinking!" To which I don't want to scream and say "Mind your own business!!"
I did not then hang out for a while to let them play on the playground to then have to go and rescue the 20 month old from the very top! I did not then decide it was time to go and turn down the help that strangers were so kindly offering me.
I did not drive all the way home to then find out that Parker had not pooped in his diaper like he does not do EVERYTIME we are at a playground!
Thank goodness it was naptime when we got home!!!
Oh and I most definitely DID NOT wear the shirt that did not get soaked with pee the rest of the day because I forgot! Nope not me!!!!!!

Not Me Monday!
Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. Visit her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
Not Me Monday... The Weekend Version.
I most definitely did not take my 2 babies to the grocery store on a Friday night one hour before bedtime and expect them to go along with the flow. I did not spend the entire time carrying one baby and trying to console another one with food. When it was time to put the food on the conveyor belt, I did not put the 4 month old back in her seat to scream while I threw the food at the cashier in an effort to hurry things along. I did not find out that my toddler had put his finger through the plastic on the RAW hamburger meat and then in my attempts to keep him quiet ate a cookie. I did not then just politely smile at everyone who was now staring at me as I have 2 screaming children, a grocery cart full of food, and a diaper bag that did not fall upside down onto the floor and have everything spill out.
I did not go back to sleep when my husband came down to hang out with our sick baby girl on Saturday and get up with less than an hour to get all 5 of us showered and out of the house for a family photo. Nope, not me! We did not show up late to a family photo that was outside in the rain and 40 degree weather. I did not then go on to rush home and wrap my nephews birthday gift 5 minutes before we walked out of the house for his party. I did not take my baby who wasn't feeling well to the party, go to Ikea, and get back to find out that she had a fever.
I did not spend the majority of the night awake with a sick baby and then call the pediatrician on a Sunday morning to get an appointment that was in 30 min but still had a 45 min drive ahead of me. I did not then take 10 more minutes to get all 3 kids in the car. I did not race around the house to find my toddler's ONLY pair of shoes, to then find out that we did not leave it at Ikea the night before. I did not say "Oh well" and take him to the doctors office in his socks. I did not let him play in the sick child waiting room in just his socks. Not me! I did not then go to Target to fill a perscription for a baby who had an ear infection and a fever with 3 kids (one of which who was in his socks). I did not buy a bag of goldfish for the kids to snack on for my 5 year old to drop them all over the floor of the van. I did not leave Target with a bag of goldfish, two Icees, a pack of Swedish fish, Amoxicillin, and NO shoes for my toddler. I did not go home and give my baby her meds to then be thrown up on (twice!) I did not then enjoy a 2 hour nap with all 3 kids!
I did not then wake up on Monday morning and take the kids to Walmart (with no shoes on my toddler) to pick up some of the items I forgot to get on my trip to the grocery store on Friday night. Not me!

Half eaten poptarts and vacuum attachments
Being as I am a HUGE germaphobe and carry hand sanitizer everywhere we go, Parker's lovely infatuation with putting things in his mouth often makes me want to hurl. He will eat ANYTHING!!!!! Or should I say try to. He eats everything from dust bunnies from under the couch (yes I have dust bunnies under the couch - I mean come on... aren't there more important things to do then sweep up dust bunnies, like sit on my butt and watch the latest series premier!), to dirt off the ground, bugs (ants and crickets included), mulch, tire pieces meant for the playground surface, to the vacuum attachments (YUCK!!!), to... get this one, Peyton's half eaten poptart from the TRASH CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GROSS!!!
I can handle rolling in the mud, digging in the grouchy old lady's "dirt" (hehe - that was kind of funny), squishing bugs (well sort of), jumping in huge mud puddles, wiping food through their hair and all over the clothes.... but I CANNOT handle eating things from the trash can!! Where he gets this from, I'm not sure. It has been going on since he was about 9 months old. 9 months later we are still battling him daily, just waiting and hoping that this will end soon! PLEASE Parker... Mama could use a break!

Aren't there more important things in life?
Jeff, the kids, and I went for a walk around the neighborhood, as we have many many times before. Correction... we walk, Peyton rides his bike. He will often ride ahead of us (just to the end of the block) and wait for us to catch up so we can cross the street together. As he's waiting for us, he apparently looks down and sees all this dirt next to the sidewalk. Being a 5 yr old boy, he starts to play in it. The Wicked Witch of the West comes flying out of her house and starts to tell Peyton not to play in it because there is grass seed planted there. She waits for us to come to the end of the block with arms crossed and the meanest face. We are greeting her with a smile because all the elderly tend to smile and just eat up our kids. Its the highlight of their night to talk to the kids as we go past. Well that was not the case for this woman. She says to us "We have a problem here!" Jeff and I say "Ok?", to which she says "He's over here digging in the dirt and there is grass seed planted here!!!!!" (all the explanation points to emphasize her anger) Jeff says "He's just a 5 year old boy, he doesn't know its not just dirt" Now had she treated us with respect and just asked us to not allow him to play in it, we would have apologized and moved on. No, she had to flip out and tell us that we should be watching our kids and how dare he play in it, she's obviously trying to grow grass. Well as hot tempered as I can get, I tell the lady "Lady get over it, its just grass seed! He didn't know any better. He's just a little kid!" I proceed to keep walking. She was fit to be tied already due to Peyton's ridiculously dispicable behavior and then I topped it off. Give me a break lady!!! He's 5 and thought it looked like a fun dirt pile to play in! What boy doesn't want to stop and play in the dirt. Is he supposed to see the tiny little seeds and know that they are to grow grass and not just part of the fun?!?!? I guess we all have our "things", but come on! I should feel bad for her and her constant state of misery, but wow did she tick me off!!

Nightly Dance Parties
The photos didn't come out all that great, but you get the point. Jeff loves to turn on the music channels that we have on Comcast and the kids have a great time dancing to them. They both love to dance, but Parker will dance to anything! Whenever he hears music you can count on him to be wiggling in his chair/carseat, dancing in front of the TV, he even dances when the air conditioning unit comes on outside. :) Peyton has pretty good rythym and his moves get us cracking up sometimes.
Thing 1, 2, & 3
Life
Some things that have been going on at the Borchelt house... Peyton started Kindergarten and loves it! Parker is learning to say more and more. "No" seems to be more prominent than ever! :) Piper is working on rolling over and loves watching her brothers run all over the house. Tanya is hobbling around after the kids with a cast and a stress fracture to her heel and Jeff is enjoying the fact that he has Saturdays off for about 2 months so he can watch college football. :)
Peyton is always begging me to take a picture of him as soon as I get the camera out.
Piper loves her swing.
